Invest in Trinova...

The self-balancing, lane-splitting commuter vehicle.

I’m Markus Scholten, the founder and builder of Trinova. I’ve built four working prototypes of this self-balancing three-wheeler.
What started in my garage has become a real vehicle that tilts, balances, and proves the concept works.
This is not a corporate brochure. It’s one founder’s honest plan to bring a new category of vehicle to market... with the right partner or partners.

Proof I'm Real

  • 4 prototypes built: One ICE and 3 - EV's
  • Balance system works: low-speed assist + free-tilt above 5 mph
  • Press mentions: New Atlas, Autoevolution, EVWorld
  • Founder background: Contracts with BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Bentley, Fisker, Aptera

I chose to spend money on building vehicles, not flashy renderings.
What you see is what I’ve built.

Why Trinova Matters

  • 850 mm wide: splits lanes where legal, takes half the space of a car
  • Lighter, cheaper, smarter: ~750 lbs vs 4,000–7,000 lb “commuter cars”
  • Energy efficient: 10–15 kWh battery vs 100+ kWh in heavy EVs
  • New commuter category: motorcycle agility with enclosed safety

Funding Phases

Phase 1 — Production Development ($1.5M)
  • Convert prototype parts into production-ready components
  • Compliance + safety testing (autocycle/motorcycle classification)
  • Build 3 production-intent units (2 EV, 1 ICE)
  • Hire core engineering + fabrication team

Phase 2 — Limited Series ($5M)
  • Build ~10 early units for validation and first customers
  • Complete certification, supplier tooling, insurance, and service setup
  • Launch TrinovaCore early adopter club

Special Option — Commission Build (ICE/GP)
  • Up to 100 bespoke units at $70k–$80k each
  • 100% refundable deposit until fabrication starts
  • 10 commitments to start
  • Each signed by the builder... a true collector’s first edition

Risks (Straight Up)

  • Certification can add time/cost
  • Low-volume production is expensive per unit
  • Lane-splitting laws vary by state/country
  • This plan depends on securing funding

If you’re looking for perfect, this isn’t it!
If you want grit, prototypes, and a founder who doesn’t quit... that’s Trinova.

Why Trinova?

At just 850mm wide, Trinova weaves through traffic like a motorcycle—without the risk.

For the average commuter, that’s up to 180 hours saved per year:

  • 4.5 full workweeks, or

  • 7.5 full days of your life—given back.

It’s not just about speed. It’s about reclaiming your time.

🕒 Save Time
💰 Save Money

With a target price starting at $18,000, Trinova costs far less than the average EV—and keeps saving long after.

Thanks to ultra-low power usage and fewer moving parts, you save over $2,500/year, or $25,000 in 5 years.

Smart design pays for itself—and pays you back.

Ultra-Efficient
🚗 Cut Congestion

Roads weren’t built for 4,000 lb cars hauling one person.

A football field holds ~360 cars…
But over 1,400 Trinovas.

That’s 75% less space per vehicle, allowing 3–4x more vehicles in the same footprint.

"This isn’t just an EV—it’s a tool for decongesting cities."

NOTE: How the cars in this image only have one person in them?

Trinova gives you the same freedom, without the danger.

Motorcycles can escape traffic... but few are willing to take the risk.

"Trinova gives you the freedom of two wheels, with the safety of a car"

“I loved what motorcycles could do in traffic. But my family asked me not to take the risk… so I built Trinova instead.”
— Markus Scholten

Trinova ≈ 0.12–0.18 kWh/mi*

Tesla Model 3 (EPA): ~0.24–0.26 kWh/mi

Typical gas car (22–32 mpg): ~1.05–1.53 kWh-equiv/mi

That’s up to ~2× more efficient than a compact EV and ~8–12× lower energy than a typical gas car.

* Estimate based on aero + rolling model (CdA≈0.25–0.30 m²; mass≈750 lb; Crr≈0.012; 65 mph). Will update with test data.
